About My Art

My paintings are greatly influenced by the work of artists such as the photographer Martin Parr and the painter Edward Hopper. Each of my paintings has a central focus to them, often a building. The paintings depict scenes that I see on my travels to work or whilst on holiday and contain elements that would normally be considered drab and uninteresting, but for me, when viewed on a brilliant sunny day are striking and uplifting.
