I trained in Art & Design at University of Hertfordshire and I also have a diploma in textiles from the Open College of the Arts.

I was born into an artistic family and was drawing and painting as soon as I could lift a pencil and brush. I have been exhibiting and selling paintings from the early 1970's. I also work to commission, so please contact me if you would like me to produce something for your personally in my style.

I look around me and marvel at the colours, textures and shapes that are visible to the naked eye. I recently returned to painting and my latest inspiration I found outside my back door. I have captured the beauty of my garden on canvas to enjoy throughout the year.

I love life, I love nature - the world around us is full of beauty and intrigue. Nature draws a mask over the damage and atrocities that man has introduced, it has its own set of rules and all have a purpose in perpetuating existence. Man is too small to overcome nature - it is this belief that inspires me in my work!
